Simon fired at BAMA

Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson reportedly is making a change on his coaching staff.

As reported by BamaOnLine’s Charlie Potter on Monday, Crimson Tide associate head coach Bob Simon has been fired. Simon was part of coach Avery Johnson’s staff throughout the last two seasons. Before then, Simon worked four seasons at Providence as an associate head coach and an assistant. Earlier in his career, he was an associate head coach at Fairfield University for five seasons.
