Replacing a coach that has led a program for 27 years isn’t an easy task.
But it’s what Austin Peay is going to have to do.
Longtime men’s basketball coach Dave Loos retired from his position officially on Monday at an open to the community press conference leaving behind a nearly 30-year legacy on the sidelines for the Governors.
“It’s going to be tough. It’s no question. Any head coaching search is tough, but this one in particular just because of the roots and the establishment and really the legacy that he has created from the things that he has been able to do,” said Austin Peay athletics director Ryan Ivey.
