The Quinnipiac Bobcats have fired head coach Tom Moore, a source told FanRag Sports on Tuesday morning. Moore had been with the university since 2007.
He originally started with the school when Joe DeSantis was fired in 2007. Previously, Moore spent 13 years as a member of the coaching staff at the University of Connecticut. Prior to that, he had two separate stints with Worcester State. One of those being as an assistant, the other as the head coach from 1989-94.
In 10 seasons with Quinnipiac, Moore finished with an overall record of 162-146. He was also 106-79 during conference play.
