When you watch a lot of Husker basketball and Husker football, there’s a lot to like, a lot to not like and plenty of room for optimism.
Matt Davison of the Husker Radio Network shared all of the above with the membership of the Lincoln Executive Club on Monday (Feb. 27), following a devastating loss by the men’s basketball team the previous night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Amid the turmoil of Nebraska men’s basketball with a 12-16 record and a couple of back-to-back losses by 16 points, Davison feels it’s important to stay with head coach Tim Miles.
“I don’t think there’s a question that Tim Miles will be back next year,” said Davison, who was a split end on the Husker football team from 1997 – 2001 and a member of the basketball team. “In my mind, and not just because he’s a friend of mine, I would give him another year.
