Stallings emerges as possibility at Pitt

Pitt may be zeroing in on its next head coach, as Vanderbilt’s Kevin Stallings has emerged as a serious candidate, sources told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Stallings has been with the SEC school for 17 seasons, compiling a 332-220 record, with seven NCAA tournament appearances. The Commodores were ousted in the play-in game by Wichita State in this year’s edition of March Madness, prompting questions surrounding his status at Vanderbilt.
