Former Arizona State coach Herb Sendek on Monday visited with Santa Clara officials about its open men’s basketball job.
Earlier this month, Santa Clara fired Kerry Keating after nine years. The Broncos play in the West Coast Conference along with Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s, BYU and others. They went 11-20 and 7-11 in conference action this season, their third consecutive losing season.
