Ken Bone, who has for the past two seasons served as Montana’s associate head coach under Travis DeCuire, officially resigned from his post Thursday, the school confirmed through a news release.
The move has been in the works for weeks, but was held up as the university worked through a provision in Bone’s Letter of Appointment. The LOA, set to expire at the end of June, is a one-year agreement and would not require the university to honor the last three months of the deal in the event that Bone walked away before the expiration date.
